From networking in Bremerton to Haunted Hayrides across Kitsap County, Autumn is full of activities for professionals and families. Take a look at October’s upcoming community events.
Friday October 7st — 31st 5:00pm to 11:00pm Kitsap Haunted Fairgrounds. Opening this Website! Kitsap Haunted Fairgrounds attracts victims from Bremerton, Silverdale, Belfair, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Seattle and beyond for the annual scare put on in October. If you haven’t made your way out here before, buckle up – you’re in for a ride through your darkest nightmares.
Tuesday October 11th 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. The Kitsap Business Forum presents Possibility Thinking, a lively, interactive discussion on possibility thinking. Attendees will learn tools, tips, and techniques of possibility thinking to assist in the process of moving from concrete thinking, which limits opportunities, to expanding their minds to see possibilities. In addition, attendees will have immediate opportunities to apply these newly learned skills.
Thursday October 13th 5:00pm — 7:30pm Bremerton Green Drinks. Every month people who care about the environmental and sustainability meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you’ll be made welcome. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts.
Monday October 24th — 26th 6:00pm Not so scary, Haunted Hayride. Ride through the “haunted” pumpkin-lined trails of Battle Point Park, where ghosts, zombies, mummies and even historic figures emerge from the shadows. Make crafts and play games before your hayride and warm up afterwards with hot cocoa and cookies. This is a not-too-scary family friendly event.
