Blue skies are finally here! May is going to be a great month for local and networking events!

Pre-Mothers Day Paddle
Old Town Silverdale to Bremerton (one way, with shuttle, approx. 7 miles). The journey begins from our Silverdale rental facility and we will paddle in beautiful Dyes Inlet through the Port Washington Narrows to the Boat Shed Restaurant, where we’ll have lunch before being picked up by our shuttle (if you want to skip lunch you can get picked up from the Boat Shed). The shuttle will take us back to the starting point with our kayaks and equipment.

Central Kitsap Farmers Market
The Central Kitsap Farmers Market was established in 2017 by the Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance in response to the community’s requests to provide a centralized outlet for producers as well as an easily accessible market for all.
The market takes place every Tuesday from 3pm – 7pm in Old Town Silverdale, between the Waterfront Park and boat launch. The 2017 season starts Tuesday, May 2nd and goes through Tuesday, October 10th.

The Kitsap Credit Union Armed Forces Day Parade held in Bremerton is the largest and longest running Armed Forces Day Parade in the nation. This year is the 69th year of the event, held on the third Saturday in May in downtown Bremerton. This event includes the Puget Sound Energy Heroes’ Barbeque that provides a free hot dog, chips and soda to all active-duty, reserve, retired and veteran service personnel.
