As of March 2017, Kate Walton, the CEO of Steyer, became the company’s new owner. A content agency with headquarters on Bainbridge Island, the business was founded in 1995 by Marty Steyer and focuses on delivering content (e.g. technical documentation, instructional materials, marketing collateral, and multimedia projects) to a wide range of clients, including  Microsoft, HBO, Tesla, and Juniper.

With Steyer’s back-office team distributed among Bainbridge, the Eastside of Seattle, and California—and consultants working on client projects from multiple markets—strong IT support is essential to Steyer. “Many people on our team work remotely, but we don’t work in isolation; we need to collaborate constantly. Help Desk Cavalry’s support of an infrastructure that is both reliable and secure is very important to our business.”
