The construction industry historically has been slow to adopt technology. Today, construction is rapidly catching up to the state of art in IT systems. In recent years, Hanley Roofing has become a leader in adopting advanced IT technologies to improve their customers’ experience. Morgan used his business background and his degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) to help modernize the business. Current technology is used both to streamline operations and provide top customer experience. One thing hasn’t changed, however — the focus on old-school workmanship and on 100% customer satisfaction. Customer-focus, old-school workmanship and powerful technology systems—what a one, two, three punch combination for a successful business—Today!

What is Hanley doing differently today than they were 10-years ago? They have empowered employees with technology tools, not only in the office, but out in the field, so that everyone has the right tool at the right time to better serve the customer. This starts with broadband internet services; mobility; redundant data back-up systems; Internet phones (VoIP); data at their fingertips; a back-up generator and UPS to assure that phones and computers are never down, no matter what the weird weather is like.

Morgan is passionate about his family-run business. He expects to continue to grow the company and provide the highest quality services in the industry. Are there more Hanley’s that will join the family business? Morgan says, “I can’t wait for my younger brother to join us”.
