American Financial Solutions (AFS) is a non-profit credit counseling agency that offers a variety of services including, credit and budget counseling, financial education, debt management solutions, bankruptcy counseling, student loan counseling, foreclosure prevention and pre-purchase housing counseling.
AFS was established in 1999, and opened their counseling center in Bremerton in 2001 and began offering their services throughout most of the United States. Despite their national reach, AFS has a family feel and several staff members who have been with them for fifteen years or more. Furthermore, by making Kitsap their home, they have become well-known in the local community and built strong relationships with clients who work in the shipyard and throughout Western Washington.
In order to keep many services free to the public, American Financial Solutions receives funding from the State, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and voluntary contributions and grants from major financial companies. This allows them to assist anyone who needs help changing their financial lives for the better. They are also proud to be a part of the North Seattle Community College Foundation. This means that any surplus money goes to fund the college and students who attend.
Since partnering with American Financial Solutions, Help Desk Cavalry has done many things to help the company. They helped them save considerable money by recommending a new, top of the line phone system, upgraded servers, and streamlined all process and systems. Security is extremely important to American Financial Solutions as they are handling clients’ money and Help Desk Cavalry has provided the extensive security needed.
