Sara has an innate knack for technology which she put to good use in previous jobs and in her personal life. She developed a keen interest in cybersecurity in her role as an access auditor for Microsoft where she worked with call center managers around the world to identify access issues. In her last job, her desire to help others fueled her work in putting together an automated document generation process that cut manual work by more than 65% and won her a CEO Innovation Award. On top of all this, Sara is also a CompTIA A+ and Project+ certified professional. All of this makes her an invaluable member of our talented project team.
Sara grew up in Toledo, OH and was drawn to the Pacific Northwest by all the natural beauty and the friendly communities of Kitsap County. She now lives in East Bremerton with her husband, two Shiba Inus, and two chinchillas. When she’s not out exploring or enjoying the Seattle ferry ride, Sara looks for ways to incorporate herself into the community, particularly in local parks. She also looks forward to finding opportunities to give back at local soup kitchens and animal shelters.
Among her many favorite quotes, Sara is inspired by the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, “Help others and give something back. I guarantee you will discover that while public service improves the live sand the world around you, its greatest reward is the enrichment and new meaning it will bring your own life.” And by the words of the immortal Mark Twain, “A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.”
