Security Manager

Robert Panek is our Security Manager here at Help Desk Cavalry and brings more than 14 years of experience in IT security to the team. He’s worked on everything from networking integrations and DoD systems engineering to security compliance in classified environments and leading SOC teams. With certifications like CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, CEH, CCNA, and Splunk Certified Power User, Robert is all about building security solutions that actually make a difference for our clients. He loves the challenge of creating new offerings and getting them into the hands of the people who need them most.

When he’s not at work, Robert is usually enjoying Kitsap life with his wife, Megan, and their dog, Huxley (who goes everywhere with them). He’s an avid fisherman and kayaker, a rockhound thanks to Megan’s passion for gems and minerals, and a longtime Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. Robert also has a knack for adventure—he’s joined organized treasure hunts across the country, from Yellowstone to Charleston to Boston. Add in theater, gaming, and pickleball, and you can see he’s always got something exciting going on. We’re glad to have his curiosity, expertise, and energy on our team!
