Koren is a Certified CMMC Assessor, Provisional Instructor, CISSP, PMP, and the CEO of Wise Technical Innovations in Norfolk, VA.  WTI is a Licensed Training Provider, teaching future Assessors and preparing the DIB for CMMC.  Koren has participated in the Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment Program with DIBCAC/DCMA, as both assessor and implementor. She is the creator of the MVP Enclave and 800-171 Compliance Program that led Jaco Aerospace to the perfect “110” during their Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment.  

WTI is awarded on the GSA HACS cybersecurity schedule for five categories: High Value Assessments, Risk and Vulnerability Assessment, Cyber Hunt, Incident Response, and Penetration Testing.

Koren is qualified by the Department of Homeland Security/CISA as Lead Assessor for High Value Asset, Cyber Resiliency Review, and External Dependency Management Assessment Program. WTI specializes in standing up cybersecurity programs within organizations to meet applicable NIST controls or comply to 800-53 overlays.

Kyle Lai is the President and CISO at KLC Consulting, an authorized Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) sanctioned by the CMMC Accreditation Body (CyberAB). His firm is instrumental in offering guidance and conducting independent assessments within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) supply chain. Moreover, Kyle contributes his expertise as a C3PAO Stakeholder Forum board member.

With over 25 years of cybersecurity experience, Kyle has advised leading firms such as ExxonMobil, Zoom, Boeing, HP, Microsoft, and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). He possesses an array of certifications, including the CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) and Certified Professional (CCP), as well as the CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, CDPSE, CIPP/US, CIPP/G, and ISO 27001 Lead Assessor.

Before KLC Consulting, Kyle was a CISO at a Blackstone subsidiary company and Brandeis University’s Heller School. He also played a pivotal role as a U.S. DoD operations manager, overseeing the cybersecurity training platform and supporting personnel across the department.

Steve Treanor is the founder and CEO of Help Desk Cavalry. He is a native-born Kitsap County resident where his parents and grandparents still reside as well. He is married to Gayle and has five children and ten grandchildren. Steve is an honorably discharged disabled veteran, who served America for ten years in the US Army.  In fact, the company’s name originates from his service as a Cavalry Scout. While Steve has a passion for technology, his joy is helping other small companies improve their productivity. When he isn’t working, you can find Steve Jeeping, woodworking, or taking pilot lessons… That is, if the Seahawks don’t have a game that he is enjoying with friends and family. Go HAWKS!

Bio

Mark McIntyre is a Chief Security Advisor in Microsoft’s Security Solutions Area.  Mark supports US and allied governments’ information assurance and cybersecurity efforts by helping CISO and mission teams modernize their security, compliance and identity strategies and investments.  Focusing on areas like Zero Trust, cloud-first identity and SOC operations, Mark helps CISOs understand Microsoft’s perspectives on the evolving cyber threat landscape and how Microsoft defends its enterprise, employees, and users around the world.  Mark is based in Bellevue, WA.

Mark previously ran the Government Security Program, Microsoft’s global trust and transparency initiative for information assurance and national security bodies.  Mark also the Security Cooperation Program, Microsoft’s cyber threat-information sharing program for global CERTs; and the Child Exploitation Tracking System (CETS) initiative, through which Microsoft partnered with international law enforcement to combat the online sexual exploitation of children.

Mark joined Microsoft in June 2007, after 11 years in the US government working on counterterrorism, information operations and regional security issues.  Mark has an MA from the University of Washington, a BA from the University of Wisconsin, and a certificate in Korean language from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea.  He also holds CISSP and CCSP designations from ICS2.
